I have been a little busy in the last week so I am a little behind with my correspondence! Thank you for the lovely comments on my last post and I hope to be up to speed this week!!
It finally feels like it's here
I know because the magnolia trees in Morrab Gardens are in full bloom
They are my favourite trees in the universe, possibly because they always seem to signal the end of February (the longest month of the year!)
and the daffs are out too
so I am on my way out for a lovely walk in the sunshine before coming home to work on some commissions and a new princess pattern for February and March
I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine too

p.s I must credit my oldest son with the photos as he had a rather nice camera from college over the weekend
How lovely, your weekend looked a lot sunnier and spring-like than mine!
ReplyDeleteRain, hail and a bit of snow .... you can see my 'out of the window' photo of Sunday morning if you visit my blog at fleurcotton.blogspot.com .

Around here Spring is around the corner too! Love me some nice weather and longer days :-).
ReplyDeleteIt was gorgeous Kate and all the more welcome because we have had such a grey time of it. Lovely photos x
ReplyDeleteLove the photos! Magnolias are my favourite trees too, but it's still a bit too early for them here. I never get tired of taking photos of them. When they are out though, we always have to hope that there wont be another frosty night, which would kill all those beautiful blossoms. Today we had a beautiful sunny day, too and I enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteHi there, I love daffs also, being of Welsh origin, LOL. I'm just stopping by to say how delightful your blog is. Thanks so much for sharing. I have recently found your blog and am now following you, and will visit often. Please stop by my blog and perhaps you would like to follow me also. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Chris
