a peek at a princess on her way

just a little proof that despite being injured (due to a chair 'hilariously' collapsing) I have not forgotten the next little princess.  At the moment I can't bend down to the printer so until I get one of my monkeys to move it for me I am a little stuck.  I will need to test the pattern out as well so shall we meet back here this time next week?

Left idle but unable to move with a few pencil crayons and two pencils.  A start on a city folk/escape idea that formed while we were in London last August trying to find open space and water for paddling, we ended up spending a large proportion of two weeks in the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain!

and I'm enjoying doing a bit of sketchier stitching using one thread and mainly black.  I'm really pleased with her so far but I can't decide just how much colour to let in there!
I shall return next week with a new princess pattern (big promises!)

The fabric on her dress is so pretty, and I love the monochrome feeling it has ....
