slacking? Me?!

Ok, maybe I thought I could sit back while my little giveaway was running, a week off but I have not been completely idle.  Aside from essay avoidance (which is happening as I write) I have been

winning!

yes I (technically Annis and I) won Gracie's wonderful giveaway.  This picture is sooooo beautiful, I've shown you a detail so you can see the lovely lace hair ribbon and she has books, what could be more perfect.  I do so love the pretty things she makes, you can see them all here

and winning this from the lovely supercutetilly who is also having a giveaway that I might still win (fingers crossed)
I will pass this award on to hope it rains the so funny blog of fiona t and littleblackheart, even though they didn't choose me (perhaps I should have bribed them with it).

I also did some not winning over at Fiona T (now she has sugar skull bookmarks!!)

and little blackheart (cute monster cards to die for!) but they are forgiven because the things they make are just so gorgeous too!

a tiny bit of sewing, I want to make some cotton purses but I've lost ALL my zips, perhaps little black heart has a zip eating monster

doodling tall

and doodling small
oh and quite a lot of enjoying the sunshine and slacking

  4. Wow...just discovered your blog and I am so enjoying working through your archives. I LOVE seeing other people sketchbooks and the process you go through to convert those sketches to embroidery and other work. I have just started working on trying to do embroidery from my old sketch archives myself and I am really enjoying bringing those old sketches to life again! Your choice of fabric elements and stitches is wonderful, and I look forward to reading your future posts!
